Introduction

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed South African learners and graduates through its TVET Placement & Internship Programme for 2026–2028. This 24-month programme aims to provide practical work experience in various fields, enhancing employability and contributing to the development of a skilled workforce.


Programme Overview

  • Target Audience: Unemployed South African learners and graduates
  • Qualification Requirements: National Diploma, Degree, or N6 Certificate in relevant fields
  • Stipend: R6,659.25 – R7,142.00 per month, in line with the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) developmental programme guidelines

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the NPA Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
  • Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Academic Qualifications: Must have completed a National Diploma, Degree, or N6 Certificate in a relevant field.
  • Unemployment Status: Must be unemployed and have never participated in any internship or learnership programme before.
  • Criminal Record: Must have no criminal convictions or pending cases.
  • Residency: Preference will be given to applicants residing in the province where the internship is advertised.

Interested candidates should submit their applications via email to the relevant address provided above for each position. The application must include the following documents:

  1. Z83 Application Form: Complete and sign the latest version, obtainable from any Public Service Department or download from the DPSA website.
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include all academic qualifications, work experience (if any), and contactable references.
  3. Certified Copies of: Identity Document (ID), qualifications and academic transcripts, proof of residence (to confirm provincial eligibility).
